This week, I found something very interesting on the internet; it’s about Realistic Art in Paintings and Pictures by Howard David Johnson. Howard David Johnson is both a contemporary realistic artist and a photographer. Following the manner used by Maxfield Parrish and other 19th century notable painter: Xeroxes and tracings, Howard David Johnson has created various painting artworks both in oil-pain and n pencil.
Below are the two of his newest painting in oil:

Sleeping Beauty

Pandora's Box

Also, by using pencil, Howard David Johnson can also create many incredible artworks:

Grace Roessler

Jessica Spence Colored Pencil portrait
By looking at this, could you believe this is actual a painting not a photograph???

So what do these mean to you? Do they inspire you? Are you looking to do photo realistic work yourself? Please tell me more about what made you decided to post them.

The reason why I decided to post these photo realistic artworks is because of the inspiration in these artworks. Most of them take the inspiration from Holy Bible, Greek Legend,... I used to like these kind of book very much since I was a kid.
I'm not looking forward to do a realistic artwork like these my self as I'm not very good at drawing.

He does not actually create any drawings or paintings by freehand. Everything is digital, then printed and traced.
